What is AnyPS5 changing in the executable?
The relinker adapts a clean executable to a supported host format, such as Windows PE or Linux ELF. Compatible machine code runs on the host CPU. Optional instruction lowering handles supported AMD-only instructions for Intel hosts.
What the host libraries provide
Native implementations of console system libraries replace interfaces the title expects. Graphics work includes translating shaders to SPIR-V for Vulkan. Missing, stubbed or incorrect behavior can stop a game after conversion succeeds.
Read progress as engineering coverage
Library counters count functions known and declared by the project. Their denominator changes as new functions are identified. Shader instruction counters are not a percentage of working games. See the dated progress snapshot and title-specific records.
Start from the title, not a percentage
Use the game library to find a recorded platform, build and stopping point. Then follow setup. This site links the original project and supplies preparation tools; it does not distribute software builds or games.
